[WAY-FI PLUS] How to perform the FW update of the WAY-FI PLUS KIT ref 1571
To update a new FW version of the panels (WAY-FI PLUS 1L VIDEO KIT BOARD ref 1573) and monitors (WAY-FI PLUS 7" MONITOR KIT ref 1572) of the way-fi plus kit ref 1571. We will follow the following steps for the update from the main monitor (MASTER).
1-. Monitor connected to WIFI.
1.1 Touch the screen anywhere to turn it on and the main page will display the following options:
1.2 Slide the main page to the left to access the settings screen and access the different settings.
1.3 Next, press the tool icon three times in a row to enter the installer menu and therefore the advanced options.
Note: The number of devices that have not been updated is displayed next to the tool icon.
1.4 From the menu option "Door Settings" we update the entrance panels and from "System Info" we update the monitors.
Note: the display shows within a red circle the number of monitors and/or outdoor panels that are not up to date.
1.5 Within both options there is an update button.
- Upgrade monitor(s): Both the MASTER and the secondaries .
Note: if you have secondary monitors, you must update them from the monitor.
- Updating of panel(s):
Note: in the case of secondary monitors, the FW must be updated from each monitor.
IMPORTANT: Do not cut off the power supply during the update process.
2-. Monitor NOT connected to WIFI.
If the monitor is not connected to a WIFI network, the outdoor panels and/or monitors must be updated as explained in the attached file. An SD card is required for the update. Contact the FERMAX technical department requesting the update file (binary).
