[WAY-FI PLUS] Street sign and monitor FW update from SD card.
Steps to follow to update the street sign and monitor from an SD card:
1-. Request the current FW from the FERMAX technical department or the FERMAX branch office.
2-. You will be sent a compressed file in .zip format containing the binary files to update both the street plate and the monitor.
3-. Unzip the file and subsequent folders until you have the .bin files for the board and monitor.
4-. Insert the SD card into the slot on the side of the monitor.
SD card in FAT32 format or format it from the monitor itself.
5-. Depending on the FW version currently installed on the monitor, it will ask you if you want to update the monitor or, in older versions, it will indicate that the monitor will restart automatically.
6-. Once the monitor has been updated, we will enter the monitor installer settings, from where we will update the street sign.
This process can take between 10-15 minutes, and the monitor should not be disconnected. Related Articles
