Blue (since version 3.4) is compatible with Google's ecosystem of smart speakers and displays. You can receive a notification on your Google speaker or screen when someone is ringing your doorbell or request to open the door with a voice phrase such as "Ok, Google, open the Main gate".
How to set up Blue with Google Assistant
In the Google Home app, add a new device that works with Google and search for the Blue by Fermax app. After this, follow the steps that the app will indicate to link the devices. For security reasons, Google will ask you for a 4-digit confirmation code that you will later use to open the door by voice.
Each paired home includes:
• 1 or more Doorbell/Doorbell type devices (depending on the number of Main Doors enabled in the home settings).
• 1 F1 device
The device name corresponds to the name you have set in the Blue app for your home and the main doors.
How to open the door with Google Assistant
In order to open the door using a voice phrase, you need to use the name of the doorbell type device found, e.g. "Home". When a visitor rings the doorbell, you can open the door by simply saying something like:
"Ok, Google, open Main gate"
"Ok, Google, unlock Main gate"
To open the door, Google will ask you for the 4-digit confirmation code that you have previously set up.
How to receive the calls on my Google Assistant speaker
To receive call notifications on the Google Speaker, you need to activate Voice Notificationson the device of type Doorbell, which corresponds to the door from which you want to receive the call notification, e.g. "Home Main gate".
