Is there any cost for the service? What are the differences between a WIFI🛜 and non-WIFI terminal?

Depending on whether your Fermax terminal is WIFI or non-WIFI, the functions of the app are free or under paid subscription.

WIFI🛜 terminals

A neighbour may choose to purchase a WIFI monitor, so that network connectivity is via his own WIFI router. Therefore, once he has paid for the product that is the WIFI monitor, he will have unlimited app service.

You will not have to pay any subscription to use the app, it is included because you have already paid for this service when purchasing the WIFI monitor.

NON-WIFI terminals

The Connect outdoor panels allow call forwarding as standard to all telephones and monitors in each flat. Network connectivity is via the panel.

If a neighbour would like to avail of this service, he or she can obtain limited functions free of charge or the unlimited service on a paid subscription basis.

If your terminal is a monitor


If you have a monitor, you need to know whether your monitor is WIFI or non-WIFI. You can check here: How do I know if my monitor is WIFI or not WIFI?

We have the same monitor models (same aesthetics) with their WIFI version (they include a WIFI chip that allows them to connect) or without WIFI (they do not include this chip and connect through a Connect building board).

● With a WIFI🛜 monitor, the full functionality of the DuoxMe app is free of charge, it is included with the purchase of the monitor at no additional cost.

● With a NON-WIFI* monitor, the full functionalities of the DuoxMe app are purchased with a monthly or annual subscription. Limited functions can be used free.

*You need to have a Connect outdoor panel installed in your building.

If your terminal is a telephone



With a phone, the full functionality of the DuoxMe app is purchased with a monthly or annual subscription. You can still use free limited functions.

You need to have a Connect outdoor panel installed in your building.

Autoon to a second General Entrace Connect outdoor panel*

*If you have more than one General Entrance Connect panel (panel that calls any dwelling in any block), the non-WIFI terminal can perform autoon and open any General Entrance panel (0 and 1), while the WIFI🛜 terminal only accesses General Entrance Connect panel 0.
For Block panels (a panel that can only call the dwellings in its own block), the operation is the same as from the monitor. Check with your installer the configuration of the outdoor panels in your home.

Can I change the monitor or phone I have installed for another model?

Yes, it is possible to swap a NON-WIFI phone or monitor for a WIFI monitor, or vice versa.
