Differences between WIFI and NON-WIFI terminals: subscriptions and features of the DuoxMe app

Is there any cost for the service? What are the differences between a WiFi🛜 and Connect 4G terminal?

Depending on whether your Fermax terminal is WiFi or Connect 4G, the functions of the app are free or under paid subscription.

WiFi🛜 terminals

This model connects directly via the home’s WiFi network (the user’s router). The app service, with unlimited features, is included with the purchase of the WiFi monitor.

Therefore, there is no need to pay for any subscription, as the service is covered by the purchase of the monitor.

Connect 4G terminals

This model offers an additional connectivity feature via the Connect 4G communal outdoor panel, rather than directly via WiFi. This communal outdoor panel provides the network connectivity and enables the call forwarding app to be used for all monitors and telephones in the building.

If any resident wishes to use this extra service with the app, they can access limited features for free or subscribe to the unlimited service for a fee.

If your terminal has a screen
WiFi🛜 and Connect 4G monitors look identical on the outside, so it is not possible to tell them apart at a glance. To identify them, please see the following link: How do I know if my monitor is WiFi or non-WiFi?
If your terminal does not have a screen
The telephones are the Connect 4G model. Access to the full features of the DuoxMe app requires a monthly or annual subscription, although you can continue to use a free version with limited features.

To use the app, the building must have a Connect 4G outdoor panel installed.

Info
Video viewing and image capture require the home to have a monitor with a screen (FERMAX terminals without a screen, such as the telephone, do not have video available from the app).

For Block panels (a panel that can only call the dwellings in its own block), the operation is the same as from the monitor. Check with your installer the configuration of the outdoor panels in your home.
