I don't receive calls on my smartphone

Make sure your smartphone settings aren’t preventing you from receiving notifications from the app. Certain system settings, such as battery optimisation or background activity restrictions, may block push notifications or limit the app’s internet connection.

If you have a WiFi🛜 monitor
Also check that the monitor is connected to your router (the white LED with the WiFi symbol should be lit on the front of the monitor) and is receiving a strong, stable signal. You can find out how to check the monitor’s WiFi coverage here. We also recommend checking that your home internet connection is working properly. To do this, connect your mobile phone to the same WiFi network and try browsing the internet.

I receive call notifications but the phone doesn’t ring

If your mobile rings or vibrates when you receive a call from the video doorphone, but no call notification appears, check the notification settings specific to your mobile model, as some manufacturers may restrict the display of on-screen alerts.

Call alerts take a long time to appear on my smartphone

If you have a WiFi🛜 monitor
First, check that both your mobile and the monitor have a stable internet connection and a strong enough signal. Carry out the following checks:
  1. Check that your mobile has a good WiFi connection or mobile data connection.
  2. Check the strength of the WiFi signal received by the monitor (you can find out how to check the monitor’s WiFi coverage here).
  3. To rule out issues with your home network, you can carry out a test by temporarily connecting the monitor to a shared WiFi hotspot from another mobile phone. If calls start coming through correctly, the issue is likely related to the connection or coverage of your usual WiFi network.
If you have a Connect 4G terminal
If you have a Connect 4G device, the outdoor video door entry system may currently be experiencing poor mobile signal, which could cause delays in receiving calls.
