I can't receive calls on my smartphone, they take too long or don't ring at all
I can't receive calls on my smartphone
Check your system's notification settings.
As an initial check, make sure you don't have Do Not
Disturb mode turned on and that you're signed in to the DuoxMe app.
- Check that your WiFi monitor is turned on, is connected to your router (red and white LEDs on) and is receiving sufficient signal. (See How do I improve the WiFi coverage of my monitor?)
- Check that your home connection is working properly, try to load a webpage with your smartphone connected to the same WiFi network.
- Make sure your smartphone settings are not interfering with receiving notifications. (See Recommended smartphone settings for receiving notifications)
Battery optimisation, for example, can block push notifications or restrict the app's activity or internet connection in the background.
I get call notifications but they don't ring
In case of Android, check the sound of the app in your Android Settings > Apps > Fermax DuoxMe> Notifications.
Call alerts take a long time to appear on my smartphone
Try the connection from a WIFI network with good coverage on your smartphone. On the other hand, when the WiFi signal coverage reaching the monitor is very low, it may cause a delay in call notification. Please take a look at
this article to check the coverage that is reaching your monitor.
If you are still experiencing any issues with your smartphone settings, please check the support website for your phone model.
