Can I watch the video of the visit without unlocking my mobile phone?
Yes, with Android 12 or higher, you can choose how you want to receive calls using the option in the app's Settings (gear icon) > Home tab > Call Preview.
With call preview activated: the app will show the video of the visit with the mobile phone locked and you can answer the call without unlocking the mobile phone. In this case, it is recommended to activate the Confirm opening option in the app so that a security method is required when opening the door.
With preview disabled: the call will be displayed as a standard notification and you will need to unlock the phone to answer the call.
Notification settings on Android
Receiving push notifications may vary depending on the model and manufacturer of your Android device. Some systems may restrict background operation of apps or limit notifications to save battery life.
To make sure you receive DuoxMe calls correctly:
Verify that notifications are enabled for the DuoxMe app, both on the active screen and on the lock screen.
Make sure DuoxMe is not restricted by battery saving.
On some devices (such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, etc.), it may be necessary to allow the app to start automatically or to exclude it from optimisations.
If your mobile phone rings or vibrates when you receive a call from the video door phone, but the call notification does not appear, please refer to the notification settings specific to your mobile phone model.
