What type of access control readers does Fermax have working with what technology?
There are several technologies, depending on the type of interaction between the identifier and the reader.
- KEYPAD
The identifier is not material, since it is memorised by the user. The
code must be entered into a keypad. This is the least expensive because
it does not use identifiers. The same code can be used by various users.
In theory it is the least secure.
- PROXIMITY.
The identifier is brought close to the reader, at a distance of several
centimetres. The reading is carried out by means of radio frequency data
transmission. It is an easy and secure method. The identifier is
usually a proximity card (like a credit card) or plastic key ring .
- RADIO FREQUENCY
The technology is mainly used in garage accesses due to the ease
allowed by the large distance between the identifier (remote control)
and the reader.
- BLUETOOTH. Access control by
telephone with Bluetooth technology. The telephone system identifies the
user with APP.
- BIOMETRICS PRINTS.
Biometric Fingerprint Access Reader with a capacitive or optic sensor. This
identifies the user by their fingerprint (feature which is unrepeatable
and unique to each person), which gives a greater level of security than
any other system that uses another type of identifier.
