How Much WiFi Signal Does Your DuoxMe Monitor Need? Check and Improve Your Connection

What coverage is required on the WiFi monitor for optimal call forwarding?

We recommend that you have at least 3 green signal bars to ensure the DuoxMe app works properly. You can check the strength of the WiFi signal your monitor is receiving by following the instructions in this article.

During a call forwarded to the mobile phone, the monitor also needs to have free bandwidth on the network it is connected to:
  1. 0.150 Mbps in download direction
  2. 0.5 Mbps in the upstream direction
The upload speed determines how fast the monitor can send audio and video to the smartphone. If the network is busy with other services (such as streaming music, video on demand, etc.), the quality of the forwarded call may be affected.

It is also necessary that the mobile phone has an adequate connection, either via WiFi or mobile data:
  1. 0.150 Mbps upstream
  2. 0.5 Mbps in download direction
This ensures that the device can correctly receive the audio and video sent from the monitor.
