The camera lens in these kits comes from the factory protected by a thin protective film to prevent damage during installation. Once the installation is complete, the protective film should be removed.

If the film is not removed, exposure to the elements can cause it to deteriorate, resulting in a degraded appearance similar to what is shown in the image, even if the lens plastic is in good condition.

Once deterioration occurs, you can completely remove the protective film using any specific plastic restoration product (e.g., headlight polishing or similar products, Würth P30 liquid, or similar). Cleaning the lens with such a product will restore it to optimal condition. I recommend consulting your local hardware store or specialized shop for advice on available cleaning products in your region.
