[Warranties] How to register a new warranty using the new template


Open a web browser and log in to our Fermax Webpage.


Click on Private Area to log in with your account.


In the next page, there will be available 3 options: Login, Register, Generate Password. We click on Login.


Note: In case of register for the first time, we recommend clicking on Create Account to fill the respective data. In order to validate the account.


Click on Sign In:


After enter to the Private Area, Click on My account Your data and fill the rest with data. It is mandatory to fill the Client Identification (5-digit number) in order to be available registering the warranty. In case that you do not know your Client Identification,  you can consult our Sales Support department and they will provide it.
 
Now, it is available to register a waranty. Click on Warranties  and select New Query/Request



We have added a new template, by selecting the Multiple Registration, It is available to download and fill a single document:

It will download the template( .xlsx archive) and we will explain with an example how to fill this archive. 
Before explain how to fill this template, It is highly recommendable to have all the serial numbers of the faulty devices. Normally, the Serial Number of the device is always a label at the back part of it. We will show you some examples:

Where:
Order Type: It is a dropdown and is available to select how starts the serial number of the device: OL, OPI, OPP, ORE, ORL, OPR, AAAA.


Serial Number: It is the rest of the numbers of the serial number of the device.


 In this part It is only necessary the rest of the serial number without the order type.
  

Details of installer:  The name of the installer, alias or company previously registered in our Private Area. We used the same as the example of the explanation.


Failure: It has available a dropdown with many options to select. It is recommendable to select the most similar as possible.


Observations:  In this cell, it is possible to add more details about if needed.


FailureId:  This option fills itself after selecting the despcription on the cell Failure.



At the moment It is filled the warranty, save the document and go to the web page to attach in the Choose File button:




After checking that is the correct file, click on Check button.


It will take short time, and it will show the details of the device as: Delivery note, Date of Delivery note, Commercial Reference, Description, Included in.


In the next next example, we can explain three possible cases:

Under Warranty:  It means that the reference is in the time of the warranty given. This also means the parameters are filled correctly, and its information retrieved is all the details regarding the Serial Number. 
Incorrect parameters:  This result is because the information given is not correct. Normally both parameters Order type and Serial number  could be wrong and this parameters can be modified. At the moment this data is correct, it will retrieve the correct information.
Out of warranty: It means that the reference is not in the time of the warranty given.  In this case, the parameters are filled correctly and the information retrieved is correct.

After check that all the parameter are filled correctly, the last step to take is fill the parameters named Name of the request form* and click on the button ADD
