Step by step instruction on how to replace the microphone of a MARINE DUOX PLUS amplifier.
1. First of all, unscrew the clamps using four hexagonal tubes which hold the amplifier to the plate.
Remove the cable clamps and disconnect any connectors or flex connectors that are connected to the amplifier.
2.Carefully prise open the rear casing with a flat-blade screwdriver at the side clips.
3. To ease the microphone out, unscrew the three screws holding the plate.
4. We have to disconnect the flat cable from the microphone. To do this, use a thin flat-blade screwdriver to press the black retaining tabs on each side of the microphone. Once opened, the ribbon cable can be released. The microphone can then be removed from the front.
5. We will replace the microphone with its spare.
6. Insert the new microphone from the front. Make sure that the part fits correctly with the corresponding tab.
7. From the rear, pull the flat cable out to its connector and insert it.
8. Once the ribbon cable has been inserted and correctly aligned, close the black tabs with the screwdriver.
Pull the ribbon cable slightly to ensure that it is securely fastened..
9. Make sure that the plate is securely in place, then tighten the three screws previously removed and replace the rear cover.
10. Before placing the amplifier on the plate, make sure that the metal mesh of the grille is in place, as shown in the following picture.
11. Replace the amplifier and replace the clamps, screw them on with the hexagon sockets and reconnect the flexible hoses or connectors as they were at the beginning.
