[5276] Transfer user information time between MINI controllers ref. 5276
To
clone two controllers the process is as follows according to the manual
code 97864b V09_19 but it has been detected that the cloning process
can take up to 15 minutes, not 3 as indicated in the manual:
We will connect the two controllers within half a metre or so of each other and both will have to have the same programming code, which by default is 123456.

D0
D1
You can have a reader connected as well. +12V, GND, D0, D1 and LED, BEEP. On the master.
With the infrared remote pointing to the controller that has all the users (master) we will dial the following.
*123456#

The green LED will flash on both controllers when the cloning starts and we will have to wait until we hear a confirmation beep and see the controllers go back to sleep, this will mean that the users have been successfully transferred.
This process will last depending on the number of users that the master has.
It has been proven that the time to clone 1000 users can be much longer than the 3 minutes indicated in the manual. If there are about 10 users in less than 1 minute the cloning is done. But for 1000 users it can take up to 15 minutes.
The manual will be modified indicating that it is always necessary to wait for the controller to beep and remain at rest confirming that the cloning has been ok and that this time can be up to 15 minutes.
