[MEET] Connection for door lock
To open the door from your MEET Kit ref. 1506, 1507, or 1508, you have a potential-free contact to open the door depending on the type of door:
Door with a latch that has an electric door opener on the frame. There are different formats and they can be powered in different ways, the most common being 12 VDC or 12VAC.
- If powered by 12 VAC, we recommend connecting a power supply ref: 4800 (12 VAC/1.5 A) as shown in the diagram. Remember to use reverse current protection varistors.
- If the door opener requires 12VDC continuous power, we recommend connecting a power supply ref 4813 (12Vdc/1.5A). Remember to add protection in accordance with the diagram using diodes/varistors to prevent reverse currents caused by the door opener coil.
-

- If you do not have two cables to supply power to the door opener, you can power it together with the street panel using a POE splitter ref. 1498. Remember to add protection as shown in the diagram using diodes/varistors to prevent reverse currents caused by the door opener coil, and a low-current one such as ref. 67521 must be used.
