[DESFIRE] Proximity reader DESFIRE NOT compatible with EM Programming Keypad ref. 2306
As a result of an incident we have detected that we have an error in the manual of the DESFIRE 7463 proximity reader, in the autonomous manual code 970206 V01_21 as it indicates that it is compatible with the programming keyboard REF. 2306 and it is not, because as you know the Desfire reader works at 13.86MHz with MIFARE DESFIRE protocol and on the other hand the 2306 works at 125KHz with EM protocol so they are not compatible.
The manual is currently corrected.

[AC-MAX] Is an EM card compatible with a MIFARE reader?
Not since they don't speak the same language. They do not use the same frequency or communication protocol between the reader and the identifier. There are multi-protocol readers, such as the RESISTANT reader, that can read multiple protocols.
