As soon as the door is opened, the call or connection is cut off

If you receive a call on your smartphone and do not press the green button to answer the call and enable audio, the app will only display a video preview of the visitor for 30 seconds. In this preview mode, without answering the call:
  1. You can see the visitor.
  2. You cannot hear or speak to the visitor.
  3. You can open the door, but the connection will be automatically disconnected after opening.
To keep the connection active after opening the door, you need to answer the call by pressing the green button to pick up. Once the call is accepted, for 90 seconds:
  1. You can see the visitor.
  2. You can hear and speak to the visitor.
  3. You can open the door as many times as you like without the connection being closed, unless the video doorphone has automatic hang-up after opening enabled*.

Do you want to keep seeing your visitor without them hearing you?

If you want to open the door several times and keep seeing your visitor without them hearing you, you can put the call on hold and mute the microphone using the relevant icon on the call screen. This way:
  1. You will continue to see and hear the visitor.
  2. The visitor will not be able to hear you.

What is “automatic hang-up after opening”?

Some outdoor panels are set to automatically end the call after the door is opened, even if the call has been answered. You can easily check this from the physical terminal:
  1. Answer a call from the physical terminal in your home.
  2. Open the door from the physical terminal.
  3. If the call ends immediately, this function is enabled.
The outdoor panel settings can be checked or changed by an installer.
