1. Run AC-MAX CS to check that the communication service is active.
If it is not recognised, go to the communication server, delete the current address and detect it.
When the server is detected, select it.
Then run a test to check that everything is OK.
The icon should change from red to green.
Then right-click on the control panel and select Open.
Edit the control panel.
Delete it and detect the one found.
Once selected.
Right-click on the control panel – Commands-Run device initialisation.
Once detected, we see that it finds two new modules, both the AC-MAX CU control unit (RS-485 address: 0) and the expander, in this case a 4-door EXP4D (RS-485 address: 100).
We see an exclamation mark in Hardware Resources.
When we expand it, we see the two new ones detected and the old ones crossed out, so we go to the ones that have not been found and right-click Replace, selecting the new one detected with both the AC-MAX CU and the expander.
Once replaced, we will see that the Hardware Resources remain as they are.
We can now synchronise all the project information with the new control panel.
