[5193] Cloning of MINI WG 1 PTA WIFI DOOR CONTROLLER ref 5193

The cloning function of the MINI WiFi door controller WG 1 PTA WiFi ref 5193 allows us to transfer users registered locally (via the master card or IR remote control) from one mini WiFi controller to another. To do this, connect the Master controller (the one containing the users) to the Slave controller (the one that will receive the user transfer) as indicated below. 


                             

When cloning, we must take the following points into account:
  1. The master code must be the same on both devices.
  2. The transfer operation must be programmed only from the Master unit.
  3. If all 1,000 users are transferred, it may take about 3 minutes.
  4. If the slave controller has registered users, they will be deleted and those from the master controller will be saved.
  5. Common, panic, and security users are transferred from one controller to another.
  6. Visitor users are not transferred from one controller to another.

Alert
Users registered in the app are not transferred from one controller to another.  This is because controller ref 5193 has two databases: one on the controller itself and another database in the cloud that is linked to the controller's registration number. From your own APP, you can have several Wi-Fi controllers, each of which will have its users linked in the cloud. If, due to a fault or expansion, you want to transfer users from the cloud to another controller, this is not permitted, as if you change the controller, you will lose the Tuya APP database, since this database is linked to the controller's registration number.
